Since Blade affinity levels are often locked behind gaining a significant amount of Trust, this can be a way to unlock the higher abilities of Blades that you receive later in the game, or Blades that you simply haven't used in combat as much.
With Poppi's education complete players need only return to Professor Tatazo for the final step of the quest.Not only can the use of proper Pouch Items significantly increase your chances at victory in even the most difficult fights, they can even be used to increase the Trust level between you and any Blade in your arsenal. After this Fleecyflossy asks Poppi to take down the level 50 Torl Marlin as a final test, which isn't terribly difficult though it does deal spike damage when below 50% health and can inflict blowdown. The next step of Poppi's education requires 3 levels of Ancient Wisdom to complete, which shouldn't be an issue if Dromarch's affinity chart has reached level 5. The correct answers here are "Kalukalu" and "Beltran." First players will need to bring Blades with the Forestry skill at a combined level of 5 in order to decode the information on the blackboard, and then determine which Ardainian Soldier posed and which Nopon is a Merchant. Head to Goldmouth to find Fleecyflossy on the Flight Deck and start the lesson. This item is probably the easiest to locate, since it can be purchased in Tantal from Boldarde Textiles for 3,600G.Īfter acquiring all three items, players can return to Lila at Tora's House to report in, and then speak to Professor Tatazo to hear his plan for Poppi to take some University Classes. Blades with the Botany skill will help with collecting them. There's also one at the bottom of the Collapsed Roadway, to the left of the Fallen Skyscraper, and to the left of Megaflote Base. The easiest set of collection points for finding these are the five between Ancient People's Driftland and the Blocked Road. These can be found in the Land of Morytha from collection points that give flowers.
Any Collection point that gives ore in Mor Ardain and Leftheria could potentially yield this item, and bringing blades with the Mineralogy skill will increase the chances of getting them. One easy place to find them is at the collection point found up the stairs at the Ruined Labourer Bridge in Mor Ardain. These can most easily be found in Mor Ardain, though they can also appear in the Leftherian Archipelago. These three locations will yield golden cogs regularly, though using higher quality Cylinders will help to find them more quickly and in greater numbers. Acquiring 10 Golden Cogs in Temperantia is most easily achieved by salvaging at Battlescar Cove, Dalnes Stone, or Triedge Isle.
